NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian, NRMA Chairman Kyle Loades and NRMA Group CEO Rohan Lund, this week officially opened the NRMA’s new purpose built head office at Sydney Olympic Park, further cementing the NRMA’s long-term commitment to Western Sydney.

The new six storey building located on Murray Rose Drive – directly opposite the Olympic Park railway station – houses over 500 staff, and allows the continuation of the world-class customer service the NRMA is known for while allowing the business to better embrace innovation, technology and new ways of working.

The future of automated vehicles has arrived, with Transport Minister Andrew Constance and Roads, Maritime and Freight Minister Melinda Pavey launching the first trial of a driverless shuttle bus in NSW.

The Government has joined forces with HMI Technologies, NRMA, Telstra, IAG and Sydney Olympic Park Authority, to conduct a two-year trial of the state’s first automated Smart Shuttle at Olympic Park.

The Coates Hire Sydney 500 is the grand finale showdown of the Australian and international V8 Supercar championships. The event will feature 3 days of motor racing commencing on 2 December to 4 December 2016.

The build for the event started on 17 October and there are road closures and changes to traffic conditions for the construction, event and deconstruction of the race circuit until late December.
